We invite you to register for the summer camp 2014 which will take place in Anglet, near Biarritz from 28th July to 23rd August 2014. Priority registration is open until April 15th for CHL members at which point any remaining places will be offered to skaters from other clubs. Places are limited and all skaters will be accepted subject to availability.
The camp is open to CHL club members from Competition, Avenir, Formation and Expression groups. Skaters from other clubs will be accepted subject to the CHL head coach assessment of ability.
Avenir/Formation/Expression training hours* will be from 9:00-14:30 Monday-Saturday and includes 2 hours on ice and 1 hour of gym per day. Weeks 1 & 2 : Competition training hours* will be from 9:00-15:30 Monday-Saturday and includes 3 hours on ice and 1 hour of gym per day. Week 3 & 4 : Competition training hours* will be from 8:00-15:30 Monday-Saturday and includes 4 hours on ice and 1 hour of gym per day. (* provisional hours and subject to change)
Daily camp rates include lunch which will be scheduled prior to the afternoon ice session.
Residential accommodation is from Sunday evening to Saturday morning with meals from Sunday evening until Saturday morning.
There is an option to book a 7th night (Saturday evening-Sunday afternoon) consisting of 1 night and 3 meals for an additional EUR45.
A monitor wil be engaged to assist with the supervision of children particularly for meal times and free time.
Your registration will be confirmed upon payment of a deposit of EUR100 per skater per week. Final payments will be requested 4 weeks prior to the start of the camp.
We are requesting your bank account details, so that in the event that the camp is less expensive than expected we can provide a refund of the surplus on a pro rata basis.
Parent Rota: we will make a rota of responsible parents to assist in the smooth running of the camp on a daily basis. This will involve the parent in charge spending the first hour of the daily training at the rink, liaising with coaches, skaters and the monitor, as well as if necessary, with absent parents. The relevant parent will then be on call for the remainder of the day in the event of a critical issue. Please indicate on your registration if you are not able to participate in this rota on certain days.
