CHL is recognised by the Luxembourg Government’s Cheque Service system
Children enrolled at primary school can benefit from the subsidies provided by Cheque Service (You need to enrol your child annually through your commune). Children are no longer eligible for the system once they go to secondary school.
The Cheque Service system allows your child to be registered in up to 2 sports clubs in any school year. Please note that your child cannot also be enrolled in a music class as well as a sports club.
The Club plays no part in the allocation of subsidy – this is done by the Luxembourg Authorities. You should/will have received a letter from the Cheque Service system in August/September setting out the subsidies your child is entitled to receive for 2011/12.
The subsidy for your child’s ice skating for the current season will be paid directly to the club. If you provide the Club with a copy of your entitlement letter, we refund the subsidy for the current season once the club receives the funds.
The Cheque Service system will close end of march of the current and consequently the Club cannot now register any children for for the season before.

Steps to follow to register your child to benefit from the current season Cheque Service
Please ensure that your child is correctly enrolled in the Cheque Service system – You should have submitted an application to your Commune to do this and you should have received a Cheque Service card
Complete the parental authorisation form
Please send the Club a scanned copy of the Cheque Service card and the completed parental authorisation to email@example.com before end of march of the current season or include the physical copy with your child’s enrolment form.
What will happen if your child received a subsidy for the ice skating season
If your child was enrolled by the Club for the previous season and you have received a letter from the CSA, please send a scanned copy of the letter to firstname.lastname@example.org or send a paper copy. You will also need to provide your bank details (IBAN) for the refund.
The club will refund the subsidy received up to the amount of your child’s current season membership fee. Please note that you need to pay the entire membership fee for the current season. No deduction will be allowed.
